Charitable initiatives

Central to everything we do is a commitment to giving people and communities new opportunities.
In 2009 we created the Allegra Foundation - a registered charity working to bring clean water and sanitation to those in need. Since then, businesses across the Allegra Group have supported the Allegra Foundation with profit donations and exposure.

To raise funds for the Allegra Foundation, we have also created five initiatives: Project Waterfall, UK Coffee Week, the Coffee Music Project, The Coffee Art Project, and The Coffee Film Awards (coming soon).
785 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water. The majority live in isolated, rural areas – the same areas growing our coffee. As the charity of choice for the coffee industry, Project Waterfall works to end the water crisis in our lifetime.projectwaterfall.org
UK Coffee Week is the flagship fundraising campaign for Project Waterfall. For one spectacular week every year, the coffee industry and its customers come together to celebrate coffee, have fun, and raise money.ukcoffeeweek.com
An ambitious, not-for-profit action group working to increase the quality of air in the borough of Camden.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Camden’s air quality dramatically improved. Walking on our streets became more enjoyable as there were fewer cars on the road and toxins in the air. We’ve set up The Camden Clean Air Initiative to maintain these improvements, tackle the air pollution crisis, and spark behavioural change.camdencleanair.org
The Coffee Music Project takes place globally, and is an international platform for talented music artists. It showcases emerging music artists with authentic and original talent, while raising valuable funds for Project Waterfall.coffeemusicproject.com
The Coffee Art Project is a high-profile art competition inviting artists to interpret the theme of coffee. It is funded by donations, sponsorship and art sales, with 50% off all artwork sold going straight to Project Waterfall.coffeeartproject.com
The Coffee Film Awards is a global competition for film, inspired by coffee and coffee culture (coming soon).
